About Our Historic Inn
The White Swan Inn is an historic, family-run public house and restaurant in Blyth, Nottinghamshire. Founded over 300 years ago, the White Swan Inn has stood at the heart of Blyth as a warm and welcoming stop for travellers and locals alike. Generations of family stewardship have cared for its timber beams and open fires, carrying forward values of honest hospitality, good food, and community spirit.
Over the decades, there have been refreshed spaces while preserving character—restoring fireplaces, polishing oak bars, and opening a sunny beer garden and outdoor bar. Today, our kitchen celebrates British seasonality, while our cellar keeps a well-kept pint and a thoughtful wine list. Enjoy traditional plated dishes, Sunday roasts, live music nights, discos, karaoke, a cosy function room, outside bar and dining, open fires, and a dog-friendly, family-welcoming atmosphere.
What hasn’t changed is the feeling: a proper pub, lovingly run by family, where everyone’s invited to make themselves feel at home.
